Recap of Sami Hamdi Tour for Palestine Solidarity and Advocacy and Heartfelt Thanks

We wanted to take a moment to share with you the highlights and outcomes of our recent Sami Hamdi Tour for Palestine Solidarity and Advocacy (“Sami Hamdi Tour”). We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of you, whether you were there in person or in spirit.

The Sami Hamdi Tour was a powerful series of events held in London, Ottawa, Montreal, and Mississauga. These gatherings provided a platform for impactful discussions, insights, and calls to action in support of the Palestinian cause.

During the tour, despite facing challenges and disruptions from Islamophobic and anti-Palestinian groups, our collective dedication to amplifying pro-Palestinian voices and advocating for justice remained unwavering. We are pleased to share that through your support and engagement, we achieved significant strides in raising awareness and fostering solidarity for our brothers and sisters in Gaza. 

Sami Hamdi's profound insights and impassioned speeches ignited a spark within each of us, empowering us to continue our advocacy efforts with renewed vigour and determination. His message of unity and solidarity within the Muslim community, reinforced the importance of our collective actions in effecting meaningful change. He urgently encouraged grassroots political activism, stressing the importance of factual narratives about Palestine and holding politicians accountable.
